Surrender. Repeat As Needed.

I've explored the concept of surrender before on this blog. It has been the most important learning in my life. Honestly, without the ability to continually and repeatedly surrender to God/Spirit, life is just an uphill, exhausting, losing battle. We just weren't designed to handle this earth experience with our limited ego mind. It simply doesn't have the capacity. Isn't it better to relax in the knowing that something greater than us can brilliantly orchestrate and handle everything for us, and all we have to do is let it? Of course. But if you're not used to doing that (and most of us weren't brought up this way), then you will need to spend some time retraining yourself. It is certainly worth the effort.

One of my favorite spiritual teachers, Julia Rogers Hamrick, just posted an article in her Autumn newsletter titled, "If You're in Financial Crisis (or Any Crisis), It's Time to Surrender." Julia has a wonderful way of communicating ideas with great clarity and simplicity. It was a great reminder for me today, so I thought I'd pass along the information.
