Jesus and The Sacred Heart of Love

I just finished reading a fascinating book titled, Love Without End, Jesus Speaks. It is the story written by artist Glenda Green of her amazing experience beginning in 1991 when she claims Jesus Christ appeared to her and spoke with her daily for several months. This personally life-altering event led to the exquisite painting of a miraculous portrait of Jesus and a loving, gentle communication between her and the Master which she details in her book. Jesus answered her questions about life and purpose, and provided expanded clarification of his profound wisdom and teachings. Her life has never been the same since and she is now recognized as "one of the world's foremost portrait painters and spiritual artists" along with being an internationally respected public speaker and teacher of spiritual principles as conveyed to her by Christ Jesus.

This book was first published in December 1998 but did not cross my path until now. Not surprising, my favorite chapter in the book is Chapter 6, titled, "The Heart is Your Higher Intelligence." The heart being spoken of is the Sacred Heart center and is described as being located behind the physical heart and slightly more over to the center.

Here is just a handful of heart quotes that Glenda states were spoken to her by Jesus during their conversations:

"The heart is your connecting link to God and the universe... "

"The heart is the timeless and indestructible source of all higher knowledge..."

"The heart center is the true source of human power..."

"Most often when I spoke of the temple, I was referring to the Sacred Heart and not to an architectural edifice. Just as surely when I referred to the Kingdom of Heaven, I was referring to the zone of perfection which is the bond between God and man, and is found within the Sacred Heart. God is the author of perfection. Wherever that perfection dwells, Heaven unfolds. Man's doorway to that perfection is the Sacred Heart. Seek it first, and all else shall be given to you..."

"The mind has no power to change your life. That privilege belongs to the heart alone..."

Also, interestingly enough, when I finished reading the book, I visited Glenda's website, LoveWithoutEnd.org, and found a video she recorded last year where she talks about becoming aware of and began studying the work of Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len and the Ho'oponopono process in 2006 and how it must have been the way Jesus demonstrated healings. Ho'oponopono has been my personal practice for over a year and half now and one that I have a strong heart connection with.

"Love is a gift, a miracle, a mystery. You are led to its threshold by your affinities, by your inclinations, and by the yearnings of your heart, although its power and presentation is by grace, not by expectation, demand or requirement. Love is the ultimate paradox, for it is the lamb that is also the lion. Love is the ultimate power which resides in surrender."

You can see more of Glenda Green's art, read about her other writings, and get information on her counseling sessions and seminars at her website lovewithoutend.org.

Surrender. Repeat As Needed.

I've explored the concept of surrender before on this blog. It has been the most important learning in my life. Honestly, without the ability to continually and repeatedly surrender to God/Spirit, life is just an uphill, exhausting, losing battle. We just weren't designed to handle this earth experience with our limited ego mind. It simply doesn't have the capacity. Isn't it better to relax in the knowing that something greater than us can brilliantly orchestrate and handle everything for us, and all we have to do is let it? Of course. But if you're not used to doing that (and most of us weren't brought up this way), then you will need to spend some time retraining yourself. It is certainly worth the effort.

One of my favorite spiritual teachers, Julia Rogers Hamrick, just posted an article in her Autumn newsletter titled, "If You're in Financial Crisis (or Any Crisis), It's Time to Surrender." Julia has a wonderful way of communicating ideas with great clarity and simplicity. It was a great reminder for me today, so I thought I'd pass along the information.

New Art - Colored Pencil Drawings

As I've written before, I love drawing with colored pencil. Along with drawing chunky, coloring book-like pictures, I love geometrics. Here are a couple I just completed:

Sometimes I like to do a little digital alteration like this:

Dance Party Friday

I love when people can relax their serious ego-driven selves and just be goofy. I found this funny news team on YouTube. Just some good, clean, goofy fun. That's a great way to raise your vibration!
