Remembering the Divine Feminine

Though I was raised Catholic in my typical Italian-American family, I no longer consider myself a practicing Catholic or affiliate myself with any formal religion anymore. I am simply a faithful child of God. But I've still always maintained my connection with Jesus and the Blessed Mother. For me Jesus represents the prime example and highest teacher for Christ Consciousness and the Blessed Mother is symbolic of the Divine Feminine aspect of God.
I've always loved this prayer to Mother Mary and have prayed it since childhood. "They" say that after praying it for three days, you should publish it in some form. So here it is:

Novena to the Blessed Virgin Mary

Oh, most beautiful flower of Mount Carmel, fruitful vine, splendor of Heaven.

Blessed Mother of the Son of God;

Immaculate Virgin, assist me in this my necessity.

Oh, Star of the Sea, help me and show me you are my Mother.

Oh, Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth, I humbly beseech you from the bottom of my heart to succour me in my necessity.

There are none that can withstand your power.

Oh, Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. (3 times).

Sweet Mother, I place this cause in your hands. (3 times).

A Time of Remembrance

“Why am I here?”

Maxwell My Love

Here is a short (very amateur) video I took of our dog Max back in 2002. It was taken in Bradenton, FL in December so it was a little chilly outside and we had just purchased a knit sweater for Max. We learned at that time, that if you put any type of clothing on Max, he will become perfectly still. You will see Robert in the video also and hear my voice in the background. My voice fades out somewhat in the middle, but you can't miss my hearty guffaw.



Maxwell "Doodle" Smart is now 10 years old and still adorable.
